Following pre-clinical training at Cambridge University and clinical training at Oxford University I qualified in medicine in 1989.
I subsequently trained in Dermatology in Manchester, and was a lecturer in dermatology at the University of Manchester from 1994 to 1999.
I spent some time in Paris training in the diagnosis and management of severe cutaneous drug eruptions. After seven years as a consultant dermatologist in East Lancashire I then moved to Macclesfield.
I'm a general dermatologist with interests in cutaneous drug reactions including TEN, skin cancer, dermoscopy, dermatological surgery and patch testing for allergies.
