I am a Consultant Dermatologist with a specialist interest in hair loss and scalp conditions, supporting patients with concerns such as alopecia alongside a wide range of general skin conditions.
I completed my medical training at the University of Manchester before specialising in dermatology in Liverpool, becoming a consultant in 2017. I have also undertaken an international fellowship in hair and scalp disorders, gaining further expertise in this area.
In my NHS role, I run a specialist hair clinic as well as general dermatology clinics, treating conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and excessive sweating. I also provide mole checks, skin cancer management and minor skin surgery.
Alongside clinical work, I am actively involved in teaching and research, supporting medical students and contributing to developments in dermatology. I also hold national roles within dermatology organisations, helping to advance education and care in hair and scalp disorders.
I understand how much skin and hair conditions can affect confidence and quality of life, so I take time to listen and provide clear, practical advice tailored to each individual.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling and sewing.
