I am a Consultant Respiratory Physician and a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Respiratory Medicine. I was appointed at Bristol Royal Infirmary in 1999.

My areas of interest include Asthma, COPD, Bronchiectasis and Occupational Lung Disease.

I have an expertise in Industrial Lung Disease and Medical Negligence, with particular reference in estimating Respiratory Disability and Prognosis.

I write many medical legal reports for the courts and have appeared in court to provide expert witness in Respiratory Medicine.

I am proficient in doing diagnostic bronchoscopy and in doing bronchoscopic volume reduction therapies using valves and coil for patients with COPD.
