Some of the principal treatments carried out by Dr Mohammad Dashti at Spire include:
As General Neurologist, I manage wide range of neurological disorders. My special interest is movement disorders and Parkinson disease.
After graduation, I completed speciality training in internal medicine in Shiraz University of Medical Sciences Iran, and worked as medical consultant in university and private practice for nearly seven years, providing consultation for two busy hospitals. In 2013 I finished speciality training in neurology in the West Midland Deanery and was consultant at Burton Foundation Trust, Heart of England. I currently work in the George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton. My background in medicine adds wider view in approach to neurology patients.
I see wide range of neurological disorders from migraine, cluster headache, trigeminal neuralgia to autoimmune encephalitis (confusion) and movement disorders like Parkinson disease and Parkinson plus disorders, neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, multiple sclerosis and other CNS autoimmune disorders.
I see more than 2,000 NHS patients every year from headaches to complicated neurological disorders like neurosarcoidosis or stiff person syndrome. Majority are treated locally but for those who need specific care, I liaise with other colleagues who are specialized in that field.
