I am an Obstetrics and Gynaecology consultant with 15+ years of experience, specialising in evidence-based holistic care. My focus is on supporting, educating, and empowering women to understand treatment options for optimised health, quality of life, and happiness.
I typically see women with the following problems: peri-menopause, menopause, fibroids, menstrual irregularities, abnormal menstrual bleeding, primary ovarian insufficiency (POI), premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).
I believe perimenopausal and postmenopausal health is of prime importance. To be able to provide support in this area I have become registered BMS menopause specialist. I advise on complex perimenopausal and menopausal issues, prescribing HRT including testosterone.
I trained in Wales and developed a passion for managing non-cancerous gynaecological problems and obtained an advanced certificate in the management of Benign Gynaecological conditions.
To support my clinical practice, I have obtained an ultrasound assessment proficiency certificate by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. To be able to provide a well-rounded care for women, I acquired a diploma in Family planning and sexual health.
Within the NHS, I hold the role of Simulation Education Lead for Gynaecology. Co-founder of GEMS (Gynaecological Emergencies Multidisciplinary Simulation) training, and am accredited by the Association for Simulation Practice in Healthcare.
I am an author of MRCOG exam revision books, and a registered trainer for Early Pregnancy and Benign Gynaecological Disease modules. I was awarded the Trainer of The Year 2023 in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
