I am a Consultant Imaging Cardiologist with special interests in echocardiography, cardiac CT and nuclear cardiology.
I specialise in all aspects of cardiac ultrasound, from routine scans from the chest to stress echocardiography to endoscopic ultrasound. I also perform cardiac and coronary CT scans. I also support the general cardiology service across the region and am experienced in all aspects of general cardiology.
Regionally, I am a cross trust cardiologist who has built strong links across the region, improving the care of congenital heart disease, inherited cardiac condition patients and those with heart disease in pregnancy. Locally, I have started and supported cardiac imaging services, specifically improving the care of patients with heart valve disease.
I am the secretary of the British Nuclear Cardiac Society at national level.
