I practice in all areas of cardiology in Harpenden, Hertfordshire but with a particular interest in disorders of heart rhythm i.e. hearts that go too fast or slowly. Patients may present with palpitations, collapse, breathless or just fatigue.

I offer comprehensive heart health assessments via our newly launched Heart Health Check service at Spire Harpenden Hospital.

Abnormal heart rhythms are corrected by implantation of devices such as pacemakers and implantable defibrillators or with an electrical study of the heart and ablation (cauterisation) of the source of the problem. I am particularly interested in the treatment of atrial fibrillation, the most common but most difficult to treat abnormal heart rhythm.
