I am a general radiologist involved in all clinical specialities apart from breast disease. I have developed special interests in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of orthopaedics and vascular ultrasound.
I treat radiology, magnetic resonance imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, ultrasound and vascular radiology.
I qualified from the University of Liverpool in 1984. I was appointed as a consultant radiologist at Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 1990.
I am actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the hospital.

Personal profile
I enjoy life in the country with my wife and two boys. My wife is a teacher in the local school and we are involved in local activities. I also enjoy motorcycles, playing tennis badly and retrieving our Labrador dog.
