I am a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist managing patients with chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, dizziness, syncope, and heart murmurs. I treat a wide range of conditions including chest pain and angina, coronary artery disease and ischaemic heart disease, heart failure and fluid retention, hypertension and lipid disorders (hypercholesterolaemia) and valvular heart disease.
I have a particular subspecialty interest in interventional cardiology, performing coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), including coronary stenting (angioplasty) for the treatment of heart attacks and angina, with experience in complex PCI such as calcified disease and in patients previously declined for coronary bypass surgery. I aim to support my patients by providing expert cardiology guidance to enhance patient outcomes by optimising cardiovascular management, risk stratification, and advising on prevention of cardiovascular disease.
