I am a Gastroenterologist with extensive experience in managing diseases of the digestive tract and in Endoscopy. I have more than 25 years experience in the specialty including 17 years as a Consultant.

I am well versed in the diagnosis and treatment of Irritable Bowel Syndrome, chronic constipation, diarrhoea, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) such as ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease, Gastro-oesophageal reflux, liver diseases and Pancreaticobiliary medicine (bile ducts and pancreas).

I am skilled at doing diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and ERCP.

I have been doing Gastrointestinal Endoscopies since 1997 and I have performed well over 5,000 colonoscopies, 8,000 Gastroscopies and 1,000 ERCPs.

My experience and training includes Consultant Gastroenterologist at Wrexham Maelor Hospital (2011 - 2019), Guernsey (2019 - 22), Greenock (2008 - 11) and Lancaster (2022 - present). I have had Specialist Registrar training (four years) in London and the South East including King's College Hospital, London.
