My principal specialist interests are in the management of cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure and cardiomyopathy, as well as cardiac risk assessment, myocardial infarction and angina, valve disease, inherited cardiac conditions, cardiac CT, hypertension and innovations in the delivery of cardiac services.

I am a nationally recognised expert in cardiology, general medicine and life expectancy assessment. I have provided expert medico‑legal evidence in hundreds of cases for the UK courts and internationally, and I also undertake independent investigations for NHS Trusts and the Ombudsman.
