I am a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine with more than 10 years' experience specialising in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of joint, muscle and sports-related conditions. I care for people of all ages and activity levels, from elite professional athletes to recreational sportspeople and individuals with everyday musculoskeletal problems.

I specialise in treating a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal issues, including joint pain, injuries, muscle and tendon problems, groin pain, osteoarthritis, overuse injuries, bone stress injuries, back problems and exercise-related conditions. My approach emphasises good clinical assessment and investigations to determine the causes of symptoms and functional impairments, complemented by tailored treatment and rehabilitation programs in collaboration with MDT. I also offer ultrasound assessments, ultrasound-guided injections such as Hyaluronate, PRP and Arthrosamid where clinically indicated. I believe in attentive listening to my patients, understanding their goals and working together to achieve the best possible outcomes.

I completed my specialist training in Sport and Exercise Medicine in the West Midlands and have worked as a consultant since 2014. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in both the NHS and elite sport, working within multidisciplinary teams. I have cared for athletes competing at the highest levels across sports such as football, hockey, netball, volleyball, and athletics. I have provided medical coverage for world championships and international tournaments, travelling internationally to support major sporting events, including the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Alongside my private practice, I currently work as the first-team doctor for Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club and a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC Stanford Hall), where I help manage complex musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitation for military personnel. Previously, I worked as a Consultant in the NHS, served as Chief Medical Officer for Birmingham City Football Club and spent almost a decade working for the England Football Association.
