I am happy to see private referrals with any chest / respiratory / breathing / lung disorder. My daily practice includes dealing with asthma, COPD, lung cancer, asbestos-related lung diseases, chronic cough, pneumonia, pleural disease, bronchiectasis, sarcoid and fibrotic lung diseases.

Please note I do require a GP referral for all new patients. 

I perform fibreoptic bronchoscopy regularly. I act as an expert witness in asbestos-related lung problems and associated conditions.

I was appointed as a consultant in 2001, initially at St Helens and Knowsley Hospitals, before moving to Wirral University Teaching Hospital in 2004.
