I specialise in general gastroenterology with specific interests in liver disease, hepatobiliary medicine and endoscopy, practising at University Hospital Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. I am a fully qualified trainer at the St George's Hospital National Endoscopy Training School, London and regularly teach endoscopy there.

I have also developed the new regional hepatobiliary SpyGlass endoscopy service and lead the liver transplant assessment service at University Hospital Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, working in conjunction with liver transplant centres in London. I also have a keen interest in adolescent hepatology and the management of ascites.

I spent three years of my training at the King's College Hospital Liver Unit. My research interests include biomarkers of renal dysfunction and cirrhosis, as well as complications of cirrhosis.

I work hand in hand with my radiology, surgical and histopathology colleagues to provide a truly multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
