I am a consultant neurologist and my sub-specialty interest is movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease. In addition to movement disorders, I diagnose, investigate and manage a wide range of other neurological problems including headaches, blackouts, epilepsy, peripheral nerve problems and medically unexplained conditions. I qualified with honours from the University of Manchester in 2006.
I trained in neurology in West Yorkshire and became a consultant at Leeds Teaching Hospitals in 2017. My postgraduate research at The University of York studied the use of artificial intelligence algorithms to diagnose Parkinson’s disease.
I am actively involved in Parkinson’s disease and Huntington’s disease research and have published research and review articles in these topics and others.
My special clinical interests include memory and thinking problems, medically unexplained symptoms and functional neurological disorders.
