I am a Consultant Neurologist and have worked in Hull since 1998, specialising in neurology since 2003. I am experienced in diagnosing and treating conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, migraine, motor neurone disease, neuropathy, neuro-muscular disorders, stroke, dystonia, ataxia, myelitis, optic neuritis, cognitive disorders and functional disorders.
I commonly deal with symptoms such as headache, numbness, tingling, blackouts, seizures, tremor, weakness, unsteadiness, coordination problems, speech disturbance and memory problems.
My special interest and expertise is in the diagnosis and management of multiple sclerosis.
I am chair of the Neurology Clinical Governance Committee at Hull Royal Infirmary.
I am the lead for multiple sclerosis services in Hull, East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire.
