Virtual consultations:
I am a Consultant in Respiratory and Intensive Care Medicine at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, where I have been working since 2009. I care for patients with a wide range of breathing and lung conditions, supporting them through both diagnosis and ongoing management.
I regularly see patients with conditions such as asthma, COPD, chronic cough and bronchiectasis, as well as more complex respiratory problems. I also have experience in managing cystic fibrosis and patients requiring cardiothoracic intensive care.
My role involves running a busy respiratory clinic, and I am passionate about helping patients better understand their condition and feel confident in managing their symptoms day to day.
In addition to my clinical work, I am the Director of Medical Education at the hospital, where I support the training and development of medical professionals at all stages of their careers.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my son, daughter and energetic Jack Russell, who certainly keeps me active!
I focus on providing clear, supportive care and practical advice to help patients breathe more easily and improve their quality of life.
