I am a Consultant Cardiologist experienced in all aspects of adult cardiology specialising in investigative cardiology. I have trained in cardiology since 2010 in Nottingham and was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at the Glenfield Hospital, Leicester, in Sept 2019.
My general cardiology experience encompasses a wide variety of cardiology issues including chest pain assessment, breathlessness, palpitation, black out and blood pressure assessment and control.
My practice focuses on the most modern and up-to-date imaging techniques including echocardiogram, cardiac MRI and cardiac CT. I provide advanced non invasive cardiac imaging services include transthoracic echocardiogram(3D evaluation of heart and strain analysis), dobutamine stress echocardiogram and transesophageal echocardiogram.
I have extensive experience and expertise in cardiac MRI imaging for cardiomyopathies and ischemic heart disease which includes artificial intelligence based quantitative stress adenosine MRI.
My areas of interest also include cardiovascular risk assessment using CT coronary calcification and non invasive assessment of coronaries. Consequently I provide multi modality assessment for coronary artery disease, structural cardiac problems and heart valve disease. I therefore look after patients with ischemic heart disease, valve disease, cardiomyopathy and heart failure patients.
