I specialise in the treatment of breast, oesophagus, stomach, pancreas and gallbladder/bile duct cancers. In treating these cancers I have expertise in hormone therapy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy (including advanced radiotherapy techniques).
I trained in London and the South of England and subsequently undertook a three year research degree into heart-sparing breast radiotherapy techniques at the Royal Marsden Hospital and the Institute of Cancer Research.
I was appointed as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust in 2015. I am also a visiting Consultant at St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester.
I have published and spoken extensively on this subject and my work has changed UK breast radiotherapy practice. I also have a particular interest in diet and its role in cancer prevention and treatment.

Although I have a passion for my work, I enjoy spending time with my young family, getting out in my dinghy in Chichester Harbour and going for walks up on the South Downs.
