I am a Consultant Dermatologist, skin surgeon and board-certified skin pathologist based at Spire Harpenden Hospital. I specialise in the treatment and management of skin cancer, eczema, acne, psoriasis, male genital dermatology conditions and moles.

Amongst the treatments I offer are cyst and lipoma removal, electrosurgery (electrocautery), excision of skin cancer and moles and minor skin surgery (shave, curette, punch, skin tags, lumps and bumps removal).

I completed a two-year fellowship in dermatopathology at the St John’s Institute of Dermatology, London and have particular expertise in diagnosis with correlation of clinical and microscopic findings.

I qualified from the University of Oxford with a BMBCh and an intercalated MA in Medical Sciences. I completed my medical training in Oxford, London (Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and University College London Hospital) and Australia (St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne) before completing a two-year fellowship in dermatopathology at the St John’s Institute of Dermatology, London.

I completed my dermatopathology board certifying examinations with the International Committee for Dermatopathology-European Union of Medical Specialists and the Royal College of Pathologists, allowing me to report skin biopsies independently at a specialist tertiary referral consultant level.

I sit on the editorial advisory board for BAD’s Clinical and Experimental Dermatology Journal, and have published in over 20 high-impact peer-reviewed journals such as the JAAD. I am involved in dermatological research into moles, skin cancer and inflammatory dermatology, and am particularly interested in the correlation of microscope to clinical findings in order to reach a diagnosis.
I have received a number of accolades for my clinical work, including placing first in the national LD path Dermatopathology Cup, and my research has also featured on BBC News and BBC Radio.
