I am a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine with an interest in a wide range of breathing and lung conditions, including asthma, COPD, chronic cough, breathlessness and bronchiectasis.
I completed my specialist training in the Merseyside region and now see patients at Spire Liverpool Hospital with both common and more complex respiratory concerns. I carry out a variety of diagnostic tests, including bronchoscopy, and offer more advanced respiratory interventions where appropriate to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
I also have an interest in respiratory health within sport and exercise. I work closely with specialist physiologists to assess breathing and lung function in athletes and active individuals, helping to identify any limitations and optimise performance.
Alongside my clinical work, I am actively involved in teaching and training. I support medical students at the University of Liverpool and have also contributed to national recruitment processes for doctors entering specialist training.
Originally from the West Midlands, I have been based in Merseyside for several years. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, keeping active and going to the gym.
I focus on providing clear explanations, thorough assessment and practical treatment options to help patients manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.
