I am trained in all aspects of cardiology but have sub-specialised in invasive and interventional cardiology, and coronary angioplasty and stenting in particular. I have an interest in complex coronary intervention including rotablation and the minimally invasive treatment of longstanding arterial blockages (chronic occlusions).
I have undertaken research in the treatment of heart attacks and participated in the development of the London Chest Hospital’s Heart Attack Centre, now one of the largest services of its kind in the UK. I am currently performing research into new technologies to help support the heart through surgery and in the treatment of heart failure.
