I have had Specialist Joint/Tendon Injection Training at the Institute of Anatomy in Munich. I was additionally trained in acupuncture at The Royal Homeopathic Hospital in 2001 and I am certified by the British Medical Acupuncture Society. I have been involved in Sports and Exercise at Barts and the Royal London since 2001 and I'm currently the clinical lead at Barts Health.
I have published literature on rheumatic disease, acupuncture and joint injections in leading medical journals including Rheumatology and the British Journal of Sports Medicine. I have also contributed the rheumatology content to the popular international medical student textbook 'Medical Management and Therapeutics' by Kumar and Clark. I run regular joint examination/injection courses for GPs and allied health professionals and I'm an examiner for the University of London MBBS medical degree. I am Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of London, QMUL for Rheumatology and Sports Medicine.
