I am a UK‑trained Consultant Dermatologist based in Chester and North Wales, offering care for both adult and paediatric patients with a wide range of skin, hair and nail conditions. I previously led the cutaneous allergy and patch testing service for two years and have broad experience across all aspects of general dermatology.
I assess and treat the full spectrum of skin disease, with particular interests in inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea and hidradenitis suppurativa, as well as hair loss, paediatric dermatology, acne management and the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and pre‑cancerous skin lesions. I also provide treatments such as cryotherapy when appropriate.
I am passionate about dermatology and take a straightforward, no‑nonsense approach, focusing on evidence‑based treatments that are effective and realistic. I understand the significant impact skin conditions can have on confidence and quality of life and work closely with patients to help them achieve the best possible outcomes. My approach is patient‑centred, and I take time to agree clear, achievable treatment goals that suit individual needs and lifestyles.
I completed my four‑year specialist dermatology training programme in 2021 and have worked as a substantive NHS Consultant Dermatologist at Wrexham Maelor Hospital since then. I am currently the Clinical Lead for Dermatology in North Wales, where I am actively involved in improving access to high‑quality dermatology services for the population across the region.
Patients under the age of 18 and those being assessed for hair loss require a longer appointment. For these consultations, booking is advised by contacting the team directly to ensure sufficient time is allocated.
