I specialise in all aspects of general dermatology including inflammatory skin diseases: eczema, acne and psoriasis as well as sun damage and skin cancers. Additional areas of clinical interest include skin surveillance strategies and the early detection of skin cancer using mole mapping.

I studied medicine at Cambridge University achieving an MA in immunology and virology. I studied clinical medicine at University College London and graduated with distinction. I completed my specialist dermatology training at a number of prestigious central London teaching hospitals.

I am an experienced established consultant working within the NHS and consult privately in central London and in Surrey. I am clinical lead for skin cancer at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust – encompassing Hammersmith, Charing Cross and St Mary's hospitals. I also run the national adult histiocytosis service and the Imperial Skin Surveillance service using mole mapping technology in high risk skin cancer patients.

In addition to my clinical work, I sit on a number of skin advisory groups both within my NHS practice and with industry leaders in the field of skin care.

Patients often highlight my friendly and approachable style and I hope to put you at ease. I love the field I work in and enjoy solving your skin concerns. As my career has developed I have taken on increasing areas of specialist interest and collaborative projects with international colleagues.

Outside of work I have two young children who keep me busy! My husband is a plastic surgeon and we are lucky to be able to work together within our private practice to give you the best possible care.
