I am a UK-trained gastroenterologist with a specialist interest in functional gastrointestinal disorders and gut health. I have advanced expertise in upper gastrointestinal physiology, including high-resolution manometry and pH impedance testing, as well as the management of functional gut disorders such as IBS, reflux, bloating, and dyspepsia. 

My practice also encompasses oesophageal disorders, particularly motility disorders, swallowing difficulties and refractory reflux. 

I also have specialist expertise in Barrett’s oesophagus and inflammatory bowel disease, with a strong focus on high-quality surveillance endoscopy. These conditions carry an increased risk of dysplasia and early cancer, and I am committed to meticulous assessment, early detection, and evidence-based management to optimise patient outcomes.

I am experienced in both diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy, as well as capsule endoscopy of the small and large bowel. Within my NHS role, I perform complex polypectomy, including endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR). I consistently achieve high key performance indicators (KPIs) for gastroscopy and colonoscopy, and maintain a high polyp detection rate, recognising the importance of early detection of polyps in preventing bowel cancer.
