I am a Consultant Cardiologist at Spire Hartswood Hospital in Brentwood, Essex, offering private cardiology tests and treatment in their wonderful hospital.

As a consultant cardiologist at Barking, Havering and Redbridge NHS Trust since 2016, I have a special interest in heart failure and valvular heart disease, but also see patients with all aspects of heart problems in my general cardiology clinic.

I am the lead cardiologist for heart failure services at BHRUT. Apart from general cardiology clinic, I run a dedicated one-stop diagnostic heart failure clinic. I am a member of the European Heart Failure association (HFA) and hold full HFA certification. I hold weekly cardiovascular MDT’s (Multidisciplinary team) meetings with GP’s in cardiology and community cardiac specialist nurses to advise on management of patients with complex heart conditions.

I perform weekly sessions of cardiological procedures which include diagnostic coronary angiograms, permanent pacemaker implantation, implantable loop recorder (ILR) implantation, transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiogram.

I run the echocardiography teaching programme at Queen’s Hospital. I undertake regular training sessions for specialist registrars, junior doctors, GPs, cardiac physiologists and technicians. I am a trainer and supervisor for junior doctors and responsible for their training, education and well-being. I am also a mentor for echo trainees.

In both the Community and Primary care setting, I have designed pathways and protocols for the Evidence based drugs for heart failure.
