I am a Senior Consultant Paediatrician at Medway NHS Foundation Trust with more than 20 years’ experience in paediatrics. I have been a substantive consultant since 2007 having completed my specialist training at Birmingham Children’s Hospital (University of Birmingham) and Addenbrooke’s Hospital (University of Cambridge).

I specialise in general paediatrics and endocrinology, with a specific interest in general infections, migraine, headaches and seizures, eczema and other skin conditions, heart murmurs, palpitations and chest pains.

My other treatments include: Chronic fatigue, muscle weakness, lethargy; chronic sinusitis and recurrent ear infections/sore throats, glue ear; concerns around growth and puberty, diabetes, lack of weight gain or excessive weight gain, hypoglycaemia, thyroid problems; eczema, chronic urticaria (hives) and other skin conditions; food allergy and intolerance - iron deficiency, eating disorder or problems with feeding, nutritional and dietary advice; funny turns, breath-holding attacks, seizures (epileptic and non-epileptic events), vacant spells, dizziness, faints; gait issues - in-toeing, toe walking, waddling, limp; gastroenterology - constipation/diarrhoea/soiling, abdominal pain, bowel urgency, irritable bowel disease, coeliac disease, nausea and vomiting, jaundice, inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux, cow’s milk and lactose intolerance, blood and mucus in stool, gastritis/hyperacidity; hay fever, allergic rhinitis; heart murmurs, palpitations, chest pains, hypertension, postural hypotension and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome; infantile colic, fussy baby, excessive crying/distress, cow’s milk protein allergy/intolerance, gastro-oesophageal reflux. Concerns about feeding, weaning, growth, development or immunisations; interpretation of abnormal blood/stool/urine tests or X-ray/ultrasound/CT/MRI scans; involuntary movements – simple tics, Tourette’s syndrome; joint pain and swelling, arthritis, hypermobility, joint dislocation, back pain; lymph gland enlargement; problems relating to genetic/inherited conditions; recurrent headaches, migraine, neuralgic pain, chronic pain, complex regional pain syndrome; recurrent infections or temperature in general; respiratory conditions - asthma, viral related wheeze, recurrent cough and wheezing, shortness of breath; urinary tract infections, urinary urgency, bed-wetting, and bladder instability, foreskin infection, blood/glucose/protein in urine, excessive thirst and passage of urine.

I also provide a service for allergies, food intolerances, gastroesophageal reflux and cows milk allergies. In addition to asthma, I treat viral related wheeze, recurrent cough and wheeze and chest infections. I am also experienced in urinary tract infections, joint swelling and pain and arthritis.
