I have been a substantive NHS Consultant Clinical Oncologist since 2012, specialising in the treatment of gynaecological cancers (excluding ovarian cancers) using radiotherapy, chemoradiotherapy, and gynaecological brachytherapy. I also have extensive experience in the delivery of lung radiotherapy, stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR), and palliative radiotherapy.
I am committed to evidence-based clinical practice and remain actively engaged with emerging research and clinical trials in gynaecological oncology. I have served as an investigator in numerous landmark clinical trials that have contributed to shaping current standards of care treatment guidelines.
In addition, I was a panel member for the Royal College of Radiologists’ Gynaecological Radiotherapy Consensus Statements and contributed to the RCR guidance on radiotherapy for vulval cancers. I currently serve as an Examiner for the Royal College of Radiologists in Clinical Oncology.
I completed my undergraduate medical training in India before joining the Clinical Oncology training programme in the East Midlands Deanery in 2004. I obtained Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2010. Following this, I undertook further specialist training at Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, focusing on advanced radiotherapy techniques and brachytherapy.
I currently serve as an Examiner for the Royal College of Radiologists in Clinical Oncology.
