I commenced training in cardiology in Oxford, following which I undertook a period of cardiovascular research investigating vascular disease in people with diabetes mellitus. This culminated in the award of a PhD. I subsequently undertook an angioplasty fellowship in Melbourne, Australia and finished my training at Guy's and St Thomas' in London.
I specialise in general cardiology but have a particular interest in cardiac catheterisation and coronary angioplasty, as well as the treatment of valvular heart disease, high blood pressure and heart failure.
