I have been working as a consultant paediatrician since 2021, alongside my role as an honorary consultant in paediatric allergy across two NHS Foundation Trusts in the North East, on either side of the Tyne. During this time, I have focused on supporting children and families with a wide range of allergic conditions, offering clear advice and personalised care tailored to each child’s needs.
Over the past eight years, I have gained extensive experience managing thousands of children with allergies across the region. This has given me a strong understanding of how these conditions can affect day-to-day life, as well as the importance of careful diagnosis, ongoing support and practical management plans.
I specialise in paediatric allergy, with particular interest in conditions such as eczema, asthma, and both immediate and delayed food allergies. I also regularly support children with allergic rhino-conjunctivitis, commonly known as hay fever, whether seasonal or year-round, as well as urticarial disorders, which can cause hives and skin swelling.
Alongside my clinical work, I have been an associate clinical lecturer in allergy at Newcastle University since 2021. This role allows me to contribute to the education and training of future healthcare professionals, ensuring that high standards of allergy care continue to develop.
