I am an established Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon who provides a wide range of Dermatological services. I am the lead Clinician for Dermatology at the Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre and involved in research, teaching and training.
I completed my General Medical training at the Queen’s Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital where I achieved membership of the Royal College of Physicians. I then specialised in Dermatology, obtaining a training post in Nottingham. On completing my training I undertook further sub-specialty training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Skin Cancer under the supervision of two nationally recognised Mohs surgeons.
Among my main professional interests are the early diagnosis and management of Skin Cancer and Pre-cancer, Skin surgery and Mohs micrographic surgery as well as General Dermatology such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes and hyperhidrosis with botox treatment. I am also able to perform laser surgery for vascular lesions and consult children with eczema and psoriasis.
I have published extensively on different specialty areas within Dermatology.

I am a keen sportsman. I captained cricket and football teams at school (2ndXI) and university (3rdXI) and led tours to Belgium, Holland, Edinburgh and national tournaments. I now play 6 a-side football matches with hospital colleagues on a weekly basis. This has allowed me to keep fit and it has taught me to be a team player whilst allowing social interaction with colleagues. I was an active member of St. Neots Swans swimming club which taught me dedication and discipline when training. I have recently taken up golf which I am learning slowly.
I also enjoy playing the classical and electric guitar (grade 6). Manual dexterity is necessary for this which I feel has helped with surgery. I enjoy this instrument immensely as it allows me to play alongside songs that I know and like, making it relevant to me. Practice makes perfect and I have taken this value with me into my professional career.
Other interests of mine are to spend time with my family and friends, cooking and exploring and visiting new cities and countries experiencing their beauty.
