I am a consultant in sport and exercise medicine, seeing patients at Spire with musculoskeletal injuries, sports‑related problems and exercise‑associated medical concerns. I support people of all activity levels, from professional athletes to those who are simply keen to stay active or return to everyday movement without pain.
I regularly assess and treat muscle, tendon, ligament and joint injuries, including knee, shoulder and soft‑tissue problems. This includes both acute injuries and longer‑standing conditions such as tendinopathy, osteoarthritis and repetitive strain injuries. I also see patients with exercise‑related symptoms such as fatigue, breathing difficulties, concussion and unexplained underperformance.
My approach focuses on early, accurate diagnosis and maximising non‑surgical treatment wherever possible. I develop tailored rehabilitation plans that take into account factors such as strength, fitness, lifestyle and recovery demands, helping patients return to activity safely and efficiently. Where appropriate, I use advanced imaging such as MRI and diagnostic ultrasound, alongside treatments including shockwave therapy and image‑guided injections.
Alongside my work at Spire, I am actively involved in elite sport and currently provide medical care for England men’s football teams across all age groups. I also work closely with professional football and rugby clubs and have supported athletes at major national and international events. This experience allows me to bring high‑performance thinking into everyday patient care.
Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active, playing football, attending fitness classes and spending time with my family.
