I have been a Gastroenterology and Hepatology Consultant since 2017. I was trained in the East of England deanery including Cambridge and Norwich hospitals.
I perform various diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy and polypectomy, ERCP, oesophageal and duodenal stent insertion, PEG insertion, dilatation of strictures and banding of oesophageal varices. I usually perform over 2,000 procedures per year.
I spent a one year fellowship in advanced endoscopy/pancreas and hepatobiliary disease including ERCP and Endoscopic ultrasound at the Royal Free Hospital. I was employed as a substantive consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist at Wexham Park Hospital, Frimley NHS Trust in 2018.
I was the lead of Gastroenterology Mortality and morbidity meeting at Wexham Park Hospital from 2022 to 2024.
