My dermatology training and practice covers all aspects of the specialty, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis and children's skin conditions. I have a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and skin surgery, and I am one of the dermatology representatives on the Scottish Cancer Information Network.

I trained in medicine at Edinburgh University, and in dermatology in Glasgow and Cardiff. Before taking up my consultant post I undertook further research towards an MD degree of the condition erythropoietic protoporphyria.
