Dr Alena Salim

I started work as a Consultant Dermatologist in 2004. I am a general dermatologist seeing patients with a wide range of skin conditions including skin cancer diagnosis, inflammatory skin conditions (eg eczema, psoriasis, acne), mole review and removal and hair loss to name a few. I hold a private dermatology clinic at Spire Parkway Hospital, Solihull.

My special interests include skin disorders affecting the female genital area (vulva) and HIV related skin problems.

I treat a number of dermatological conditions including: Inflammatory skin disease including rashes and eczema; Vulval skin disorders; Skin diseases associated with HIV infection; Adult acne treatment.

I went to school in the UK, graduating from Nottingham University Medical School. I then went on to complete my specialist Dermatology training in Oxford.
