I have been a consultant Neurologist since 1990 having trained and worked initially in Johannesburg, South Africa. I relocated to Hull in 1996 where I have been practicing as a consultant Neurologist since.
I have always worked predominantly as a general Neurologist, seeing all neurological disorders, but my "special interests" have always been in Movement disorders (including Parkinson's and tremors) and Epileptic disorders / disorders of consciousness.
I have been Clinical Director of Specialist Medicine at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) on and off for at least the last 8 years - currently still in post.
