I undertake all diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies except ERCP and enteroscopy. I am an accredited bowel cancer screening colonoscopist and I perform most therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as polypectomy, dilatation, banding, insertion of oesophageal stents, bleeding haemostasis etc.

I was appointed as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Lincoln County Hospital in 2003 and provide up to date care in Gastrointestinal and liver diseases (except hepatitis B and C infection). I have a special interest in and am the lead clinician for inflammatory bowel disease services.

Having completed my MD at the prestigious Chandigarh Institute of Medical Education and Research and working as Senior Resident at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, I moved to the UK for higher specialist training. I then completed specialist training in Gastroenterology and General Medicine at the South Trent Deanery in Leicester.

I also consult patients with general medical problems. It is my mission to provide a safe, effective and evidence based treatment for all of my patients.

I have published several papers in the Medical and Gastroenterology journals.
