Clinical neurophysiology uses advanced testing to understand how the nervous system is functioning. By measuring electrical activity in the brain, nerves, and muscles, we help diagnose neurological conditions and support personalised treatment plans
Clinical neurophysiologists measure electrical activity in the brain, nerves, and muscles to diagnose neurological conditions such as epilepsy, neuropathies, or neuromuscular disorders
Our patients are at the heart of what we do and we want you to be in control of your care.
All of our neurophysiologists are fully qualified and benefit from working in our modern, well-equipped hospitals and clinics.
We're here to help you every step of the way. You will have a formal consultation with the consultant of your choice. During this time you will be able to explain your medical history, symptoms and any concerns you might have.
Your neurophysiologist will discuss your medical history with you and perform a thorough assessment of your condition. They will also discuss with you whether they feel any other tests are needed.
With your permission the consultant will liaise with your GP or another consultant and provide a detailed discharge summary at the end of your tests or treatment.
We have tried to make your experience with us as easy and relaxed as possible.
