Mr Wadhwa was a fabulous consultant, he and the team at Little Aston Hospital were exceptional. The care and attention given by everyone was second to none, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to the hospital again if needed.
I was fully involved in the decision making process with Mr Wadhwa, deciding my treatment pathway. I was fully informed of all procedures available to me, which allowed me to make an informed choice on what would work best for me. Before my procedure, I was visited by Mr Wadhwa and my anaesthetist, they put me at ease instantly; I knew from the start I was in the right hands. They even discussed my procedure again before the procedure took place.
After my op, I was looked after superbly by the teams on Wyndley Ward, Theatres and Recovery. On the evening, I did have a slight issue with my catheter and Mr Wadhwa visited me personally, in his own time, to ensure I was ok and comfortable - which I thought was exceptional service.
During a follow-up appointment a week or so later I needed to have my catheter completely removed. The thought did make me very anxious and I was very nervous about it. The nurse in charge sat me down and completely put me at ease and my anxiety melted away. Thank you to everyone involved with my care at Spire Little Aston, the op was a complete success!
