Mr Sabu Jacob, experienced Consultant General Surgeon will discuss the causes and symptoms of your varicose veins and can advise you on the treatment options available - all within a free one to one 10 minute consultation. Our ultrasound technician will also be on hand to give each patient suffering from varicose veins a free mini-scan*. Please ensure that you wear clothing that makes your vein easily accessible.

*The mini-scan will give an indication of whether you may be suitable for ELT treatment. However, for patients planning to go ahead with treatment, a full ultrasound scan will still be needed. Scans are only offered to patients with varicose veins.
*Mini consultations are an opportunity to ask any questions or concerns you may have and are not a formal outpatient consultation. If you wish to proceed to surgery, a full outpatient consultation will be required.

From Brentwood town centre
At the traffic light junction of Weald Road and Kings Road, turn into Kings Road. Go straight across the first mini roundabout and continue down the hill (bearing right) at the second mini-roundabout. You will go past Brentwood railway station on the left. Continue up Warley Hill, past the petrol station and straight across two mini-roundabouts. At the next traffic lights turn left into Eagle Way. The hospital entrance is 100 yards along on the right hand side.
From A12/M25 junction 28
Leave the A12 at the junction with the M25, or leave the M25 motorway at junction 28 and take the A1023 to Brentwood. The Holiday Inn will be on your left. Go straight across the first set of traffic lights. Turn right at the second set of lights into Mascalls Lane. At the end of Mascalls Lane, go straight across at the lights into Eagle Way. The hospital entrance is 100 yards along on the right hand side.

Leave the A127 at the junction with the B186, signposted Brentwood. Stay on the B186 for one and a half miles to traffic lights. Turn right into Eagle Way. The nearest train stations are Brentwood (10 minutes taxi ride from the hospital) and Shenfield (15 minutes taxi ride). Both stations have taxi ranks. Trains to Brentwood leave London Liverpool Street approximately every 15 minutes and the journey time is 35 minutes. Trains to Shenfield are also frequent and take around 20 minutes. Shenfield is also served by trains from Colchester and Southend. The nearest tube station is Upminster. A taxi from Upminster station to the hospital takes about 20 minutes.
