You don't just have to live with hip pain. Come along to our free hip pain event to hear from our expert surgeon Mr Paul Sherry.

Is hip pain affecting your day-to-day life?

If so, come along to our free information evening on Thursday 20 February at 7pm hosted by Mr Paul Sherry, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon.

This event is for anyone who is considering private treatment or would like to gain more information about hip pain, which they may be experiencing.

What will happen at the event?

A short presentation will be given on the common causes of hip pain, routes to diagnosis and treatment solutions.

Is this event for me?

If you are suffering with chronic pain or arthritis in your hip and your answer to any one of the questions below is ‘yes’ then this event is for you.

  • Do you suffer from chronic hip pain and are you considering further exploration onto its causes?
  • Have you had exploratory investigations carried out and require further treatment to ease your symptoms?
  • Are you considering having a hip replacement and would like more information about the procedures available?
  • Have you made the decision to have surgery privately and are considering your options?

How to get to us

Spire Cheshire Hospital is located just off junction 10 of the M56 on the A49 to Warrington. Warrington town centre is approximately four miles away and Manchester and Liverpool are approximately 30 minutes away.

We're served by both Warrington and Chester stations with taxis available at both stations.

If you're flying in for treatment, both Manchester and Liverpool airports are only about half an hour away.

Travel instructions

By car

From M6 southbound
Exit M6 at junction 20A, follow signs for M56 Chester and North Wales. Exit M56 at next junction (J10). Follow local directions below.

From M6 northbound
Exit M6 at junction 20 follow signs for M56 Chester and North Wales. Exit M56 at next junction (J10). Follow local directions below.

From Manchester and the east
Take M56 towards Warrington/Chester and North Wales. Exit at junction 10. Follow local directions below.

From Chester, North Wales and the west
Take M56 signed Manchester and Warrington. Exit at junction 10. Follow local directions below.

From all above routes, leave M56 at junction 10
Take the exit from the roundabout signed A49 Warrington. After 100 yards take the first turning left into Fir Tree Close, from where the hospital can be seen on the right hand side.

From Warrington town centre
Take A49 southbound towards Stockton Heath and M56. Proceed through Stockton Heath centre, following signs to M56. Continue for approximately two miles to the second set of main traffic lights. Proceed straight on (Cat and Lion pub on right). After approximately 100 yards, turn first right into Fir Tree Close, from where the hospital can be seen on the right hand side.

By rail

From Manchester direction - Warrington Central Station. From Chester direction - Warrington Bank Quay Station. Taxis are available at both stations.

By bus

From Warrington Route 46
From Northwich Route 46

By air

Manchester and Liverpool airports are about 30 minutes drive from the hospital via the M56 motorway.
