Mr Paul Sherry
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon - Lower Limb
MB BS, BSc, FRCS (Orth), FRCS (Eng & Ed)
In the last 21 years, I have performed over 5,000 lower limb joint arthroplasties (hip and knee combined). This includes over 2,000 hip replacements and a similar number of knee replacements. I regularly operate on the foot and ankle and have extensive experience of more common procedures.
Having been appointed as a consultant in 1995, I have continued to develop an interest in lower limb adult elective orthopaedics (with a specialty in hip, knee, foot and ankle). During the 21 years of consultant practice, I have gained experience of revision joint surgery as well as surgery to the foot and ankle.
Over the last eight years, I have been an examiner for the FRCS (Orth) on behalf of the intercollegiate surgical board for the Royal College of England, Scotland and Ireland. It has been a privilege to support the work of maintaining standards of surgical training in the British Isles.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Paul Sherry at Spire include:
Joint manipulation, foot and ankle surgery, osteoarthritis, sports medicine, sports injury, soft tissue injuries, knee surgery, hip revision surgery, hip surgery, arthroscopy, and ankle surgery.
