Our specialist physiotherapy team

Our physiotherapy team comprises of seven team members, all of whom are registered with the HPC (Health Professions Council) and CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy) regulating standards of physiotherapy. We have three physiotherapists who are McKenzie accredited. The McKenzie method is a comprehensive assessment and management system for patients who have back and neck pain. It can provide significant pain relief for patients and assist them in managing their symptoms in both the short and longer term. Why choose physiotherapy at Spire Cheshire Hospital?

Spire Cheshire Physiotherapy offers a range of unique services carried out by highly trained physiotherapists offering fast and easy access to consultants, X-ray and MRI. With competitive pricing and flexible appointments we’re here to help accelerate your recovery. With a team of chartered physiotherapists, we are able to offer an accessible and affordable service that includes: No waiting list, direct access to consultants from the Cheshire Orthopaedic Centre, no need for GP or consultant referral if you are paying for your own treatment, open to all - you do not require private medical insurance to come and see us. The physiotherapy department, located within the Cheshire Orthopaedic Centre, benefits from an on-site gymnasium, enhanced with specialist equipment, including isokinetic testing, to provide you with the best environment for a prompt recovery. Our physiotherapists specialise in specific areas of the body. This means that rather than receiving treatment from a generalist in a small practice, you will have access to physiotherapists specialising in a number of areas, depending on your needs. These areas include foot and ankle, knee, hip, back, shoulder and upper back, hand, continence and disorders of the inner ear including balance.

How do I make an appointment?

Simply contact the physiotherapy department at Spire Cheshire Hospital on 01925 215 027 where our staff will be happy to make an appointment or answer any questions that you may have. We offer a flexible range of convenient appointments from early morning to late evening: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 8.00pm. We do not limit your initial appointment to 30 minutes like some providers may. The initial appointment will be for as long as the physiotherapist feels necessary.
