Whether you are looking for a detailed initial assessment, a second opinion for a complex condition or to get ahead of the long NHS waiting lists I am dedicated to providing the highest level of personalised care. As most common spinal conditions are self-limiting, I will always consider non- surgical options first. If any invasive treatment is required, then I will try to find the right balance between the best possible outcomes and minimal risk.
I have been performing spinal surgery for almost a decade and have undergone specialist fellowship training approved by the British Association of Spine Surgeons in Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery. I am currently appointed as a Consultant by Frimley Health Foundation Trust linking closely with St George’s Hospital in London for complex cases.
While some specialists may only offer only a limited range of surgical procedures my training and experience allows me to access the whole spine from anterior, lateral and posterior approaches meaning that your treatment will be individually tailored to your condition. I have excellent connections with surgeons across the UK including London. If onward referral is required, then I am well placed to do so.
If you've already paid for a private MRI Scan and are looking for a specialist opinion, I also offers virtual consultations and advice regarding next steps, avoiding the need for a face to face assessment.
I am trained in General trauma and orthopaedics and offer acute fracture management as part of my NHS commitments at Frimley Park Hospital. I have a specialist interest in the management of degenerative spinal conditions, spinal trauma and cancer of the spine (MSCC).
If you are suffering from back pain or sciatica then I offer a full breadth of diagnostics and treatment measures including spinal injections, microdiscectomy, spinal decompression and fusion. I use a high-powered microscope, intraoperative X-rays and neuromonitoring to ensure the utmost safety to my patients.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Rajan Jandoo at Spire include:
