I am a Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist with extensive experience in managing a wide range of hormone and diabetes-related conditions in children and young people.
I support patients with concerns including type 1 diabetes, growth and puberty disorders, thyroid conditions and other endocrine problems. I also provide general paediatric care, helping children with a variety of health concerns, and work closely with families to ensure they feel informed and supported throughout their child’s care.
Alongside my clinical work, I am actively involved in research, education and national service development within paediatric diabetes and endocrinology. I have contributed to national guidelines, published extensively and presented internationally, helping to improve care and outcomes for young people with these conditions.
I hold a number of leadership roles across the UK and internationally and was honoured to be awarded an OBE in recognition of my contributions to diabetes care and support for people with autism and disabilities.
I understand how important it is for families to feel confident and reassured when managing long-term conditions, so I take time to explain diagnoses clearly and support shared decision-making.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, as well as reading, walking and creative interests.
