BSC (Hons), MCSP
I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2007 from Leeds Metropolitan University. Since qualifying I have worked in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, orthopaedics, community rehabilitation, respiratory physiotherapy and general surgery.
In 2009 I spent two years working as an inpatient physiotherapist in Wellington, New Zealand.
Shortly after qualifying I qualified in Pilates Matwork one and two and in 2011 I qualified in acupuncture.
Throughout my career I have also developed an interest in ante natal and post natal rehabilitation.
At the Spire Alexandra Hospital I predominantly work as an inpatient physiotherapist on Copperfield ward. On the ward I focus on post op rehabilitation, ensuring patient's are safely discharged home following orthopaedic and general surgery.
I also spend some time seeing musculoskeletal outpatients, treating patient's with back, neck and upper and lower limb pain. I frequently use my skills in Pilates and acupuncture when treating musculoskeletal patients.
