Gill is a dietitian specialising in bariatric surgery for Spire Bushey Hospital in Hertfordshire. She provides dietary counselling and support for patients undergoing gastric balloons, gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass. Gill has been working as a Bariatric Specialist Dietitian in the Private Sector for the past 6 years. Patients nutritional requirements are assessed prior to and post surgery and dietary advice and support is tailored to the individual patients needs in order to maximise weight loss and ensure long term nutritional adequacy.

Gill has held various Private and NHS Dietetic Posts throughout her 25 year career at St. George’s Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital, Barnet PCT, Enfield PCT, North Middlesex Hospital and NHS Hertfordshire. She has specialised in bariatric surgery, oncology, nutritional support, tube feeding, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia and weight management. She delivers support in one to one and group settings and is also a qualified teacher. Gill is currently working as an Advanced Dietetic Practitioner for Prescribing Support for NHS Hertfordshire where she reviews patients with celiac disease and those requiring nutritional support. She is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire where she teaches Undergraduate dietetic students on the BSc(Hons) Dietetics Programme.
