MBBS RCOG
I have worked in Obstetrics and Gynaecology since 2005, having graduated from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Medical School in London.
After completing my initial medical training and working in London for a few years, I returned to Yorkshire to continue my specialist training across a number of hospitals in West Yorkshire, including Leeds, Calderdale and Bradford. During this time, I also spent a year working in New Zealand, an experience I found both professionally enriching and personally rewarding.
I currently have the privilege of working within the NHS at Bradford Royal Infirmary, where I practice both obstetrics and gynaecology, delivering care in both emergency and outpatient settings.
My specialist interests include perinatal pelvic health, menopause care and urogynaecology, and I run dedicated clinics in each of these areas. I regularly assess, treat and perform surgery for women with pelvic floor conditions and acute gynaecology conditions.
In my private practice at Spire, my work is focused primarily on urogynaecology. I care for women with pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, recurrent urinary tract infections and bladder pain. I understand what a significant impact these symptoms can have on the lives of the women I treat and I work collaboratively with patients to develop tailored treatment plans that best meet their needs and support long-term wellbeing.
I specialise in the diagnosis and management of pelvic floor conditions, including pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. I offer comprehensive assessment of symptoms, including advanced investigations such as cystoscopy and urodynamic studies to identify the underlying cause and guide personalised treatment. My approach encompasses a full spectrum of care, ranging from conservative measures and medical management, to surgical intervention where appropriate. I aim to tailor treatment to each individual, ensuring that all options are explored in line with patient preferences and clinical guidelines. In the surgical management of pelvic organ prolapse, I perform procedures including vaginal hysterectomy, vaginal wall repairs and sacrospinous fixation. For patients with urinary incontinence, I offer minimally invasive treatments such as Botox injections for overactive bladder and Bulkamid injections for stress urinary incontinence.

Outside of work, I have a keen interest in sport and spend much of my free time playing hockey, running and mountain biking. I particularly enjoy skiing and windsurfing holidays, and I try to spend as much time as possible in North Wales, where I love exploring the beaches and making the most of everything the area has to offer.
