I am a Consultant ENT Surgeon specialising in surgery for patients with sleep disordered breathing. I am at the forefront of new technologies for snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) and I am working with researchers to be the first surgeon in the country to implant a bilateral hypoglossal nerve stimulator for severe OSA.

I also perform ear operations such as mastoidectomy and hearing improvement operations.

I am also developing new techniques and classifications for snoring and sleep apnoea and regularly speak at international conferences. I also have a specialist interest in Otology. In this area I specifically focus on treating tinnitus, vertigo and cholesteatoma.

I am well recognised for my clinical style and believe that by thoroughly explaining symptoms and diseases to my patients, it allows them to truly understand their condition. This knowledge empowers patients to take control of their health problem and make well informed choices about the treatment options available.
